A Fox Jumped Out by Elizabeth McCrimmon

Art Greeting Card, Mixed Media Elizabeth McCrimmon was born in Co. Cork, Ireland and moved to England as a baby. She was brought up in London and continues to live there today.

She studied at the London College of Printing, completing an Art & Design Foundation Course in the 1980s. After working in a Bank she returned to painting and drawing. Her subject matter has varied, ranging from portraits and industrial landscapes to still life. A love of the countryside and wildlife, especially that of Scotland and Ireland, have been a major influence.

Elizabeth enjoys the struggle involved in creating a piece of art. It is not relaxing but it does provide a welcome form of escapism. At the moment she uses a range of media including pencil, ink, fine-liner pens, watercolour and collage, often using brown card as a base.
